For Alfie’s Sandwich & Market, I designed a series of chalkboard menus that seamlessly blend functionality with visual storytelling. Each board was thoughtfully laid out to highlight their handcrafted sourdough sandwiches and curated ingredients, while reflecting the warmth and authenticity of their brand.

I worked closely with the team to understand their process—from the 72-hour fermentation of their dough to the intentional layering of flavours—so the typography, layout, and illustrations would echo that same level of care.

Using a mix of bold lettering for clarity, softer script for charm, and custom illustrations that draw the eye and invite curiosity. The result? A set of chalkboard menus that not only guide customers through their offerings, but also create an atmosphere that feels personal, artisanal, and unforgettable.
